Hello. As a previously anonymous article creator and polisher, I thought I should become nymous, if thats a word. My specialities will be French and Welsh culture, I hope. I do stuff over at Wiktionary, wiktionary:User:Wonderfool. They made me an admin too. One day maybe I'll get that honor here?
* I have been interested in starting up a wiki project, called initially wikidebate or wikiforum, to discuss contraversial topics - whether they are right or wrong, including points of view for and against issues like doping, school uniform, suicide, religion, euthanasia and Wiki. The idea is to have topic categories, and develop over time a large backdrop of issues to debate on. Wikinfo is a similar project, but is too "lovey dovey" and positive for my vision.
*Wikipedia:Reference desk is cool too. As is Wikipedia:Wikiportal and [http://vs.aka-online.de/cgi-bin/globalwpsearch.pl?search=Wikipedia&timeout=30&minor=1 This, if u wanna do interwikis]
I got a French page too that isnt that good, but u should be able to get to it be spying it in their languages. Then I went and got myself accounts over loads of languages, doin interwikiing, a very relaxing task, these accounts are at my Lemburgs page. 39 different accounts over diffrent languages, baby!! li:User:Wonderfoolsimple:User:wonderfool

Lived in Warsash, Southampton, Swanage, Swanwick, Coronado, California , Cardiff, Rennes and a tent. I speak French very well, and speak a good bit of German, a couple of years of Spanish, the sign language alphabet, extremely basic Welsh and Breton and can say "cheers" in 20 languages. This gives me a modest ability even to understand some Dutch, Portugese and Italian, which i have never learned from books. I plan to get pretty good at Japanese by the end of 2005. I'm getting steadily through a self-learning bok. My funeral song is going to be Drawn From Memory by Embrace (British band). I hate my dog. My name stems back from a song by Everclear that I really liked, called Wonderful. Wonderfool, I thought, sounded really cool in the whole so I adopted it as an online moniker.

Welcome! I see you signed up as a French-to-English translator. There is a big backlog of articles needing translation from French (the biggest such backlog we've got) at Wikipedia:Translation into English. If you'd like to sign up to take on one of these, it would be very welcome. ==Wikidebate==
Hi! I notice youve put up an article called wikidebate. Its prefered not to have this sort of page in the main namespace: perhaps you could move it to one of your subpages (User:Wonderfool/wikidebate for example) and ask an admin to remove the original by putting a speedy delete tag () on it? User:Iainscott 14:12, 5 Nov 2004 (UTC)

::I'd never thought about that (and I'd be interested to see what the director has to say on the DVD) - because they ''were'' flying at the time that Donnie went back in time, and they did receive that turbulence. I think the way I interpreted the turbulence was that it was a result of the time travel, but I think I'll have to rewatch the film now. As far as I understood, neither of the engines appeared to have come from a particular plane, because the of the FAA's inability to find where it come from when it fell the first time. == COTW failures ==
Hi there. Nice to see that you are helping to maintain WP:COTW. Just one small thing - the COTW template is placed on article talk pages when they get nominated and I've noticed that you haven't removed them. While it's hardly a serious issue it does start making the place a little untidy. Just thought I'd let you know. Cheers, User:VioletrigaUser_talk:violetriga 12:02, 16 Feb 2005 (UTC)
:Indeed - thanks for helping out, but please would you also archive failed nominations when you delete them from the main page: they should be cut and pasted to the end of Wikipedia:Collaboration of the week/Removed with a short "Reasons for removal" comment. I've done it for Turkish War of Independence, English Wikipedia, Joseph Cotten and Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. -- User:ALoanUser_talk:ALoan 14:04, 16 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Your short article was removed from the current Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost, as it just doesn't fit in. See also Wikipedia_talk:Wikipedia_Signpost#One_of_these_things_is_not_like_the_others. Perhaps you can expand on it, and turn it into a good article for the next Signpost edition? 16:52, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)
:Actually, I've expanded on it and added it back in to the current edition. I do appreciate the contribution, although we've tried to get articles a little more polished before they actually get posted on the Signpost page itself. If you want to add anything in the future, feel free to let me know; what we usually do is work on drafts of articles using subpages in our user space, get them ready for "publication", and then move them into the Wikipedia namespace on Monday when they get published. It's an attempt to balance the collaborative editing process with the need to generate a reasonably "finished" product, which works a little differently for news than it does for the encyclopedia. --User:Michael Snow 18:03, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I only became aware of you through one of your parent's bold addition to WP:SIGN. Anyway, I noted the interest in Welsh culture and thought that your heredity may be of some help with this can of worms that I unintentially opened. It started when I looked into a new article about a Welsh cheese, Yfeni, by an anon. After some checking I felt that the article was genuine but that the name was misspelled so I moved it to Y-fenni and stubbed it. When I researched further (I know, I shouldn't have) I came to realize that the cheese Y-fenni was named for the market town Y Fenni which is the Welsh name for Abergavenny, a municipal borough in Monmouthshire, in Wales. Looking a little further I realized that this was in way above my pay-grade here what with all the inconsistent spellings I found for the town and the cheese (Y Fenni.Y-Fenni, Y fenni, Y-fenni). We certainly need a dis-ambig page but I don't feel adequate to the task. If you are interested, it should cover the town vs the cheese vs the variety of spellings for both. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide and I love your ''name-play''. Also see [http://www.teddingtoncheese.co.uk/acatalog/de423.htm]. User:HydnjoUser talk:Hydnjo 01:47, 22 Mar 2005 (UTC)

==Public account==
Hi Wonderfool, I have a query about User:Onefool, which appears to be a public user account with the password declared on your user page. Are you aware that this is against policy? The reason is that it allows anonymous editing without accountability. Is this actually set up and working with this password? Best, User:SlimVirgin 20:40, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)
:I have blocked User:Onefool as it does appear to be operating as a public account. If I've made a mistake or misunderstood, please let me know and I'll reverse the block. User:SlimVirgin 20:52, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)
::I have posted the following on User talk:SlimVirgin talk page:
::Hey Slim, I tried to get into User:Onefool's "public" account using the passwords: ''password'', ''Password'', ''"password''", and ''"Password''". None were successful, so I don't think that it ''is'' a "public" account. Perhaps a prank? ;-) User:HydnjoUser talk:Hydnjo 22:04, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

:::Hi Wonderfool, thanks for the explanation. I saw it hadn't been used for a while, but some of the recent posts made me think it was about to start up again. It would probably be a good idea to delete that password from your user page, in case it's changed back again. Accounts where the password is posted are to be blocked on sight, because they mean users can edit without any way of tracing who's doing what, and can create the impression of, as you said, a "super user." Here's the relevant policy section. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Blocking_policy#.22Public.22_accounts] Sorry to have troubled you over it. Best, User:SlimVirgin 14:54, Mar 24, 2005 (UTC)

Hi! I noticed Ayinyud's alternative proposal on the discussion page -- and well, I ran with it. Be Bold! So please drop over and look at the messes I've made. Below is my initial note on the discussion page.
:"I'll join in, but I think we all have to take some initiative to get this off the ground. The time constraints may be the main difficulty. After all, everyone here does have a real life, don't they? What if we took the info above, claimed a chapter, wrote from one of the listed characters or additional character's POV (I'll be Ethelynn, the new upstairs maid - Chapter 7, User:WBardwin/Chapter.), and then put it together and edit jointly for content and flow? Each character would tell about events before, the murder, and events after from their POV, then we would have different snapshots to work from. We could then jointly write the revelation of the murderer and the conclusion. Having the first chapter to work from would be important, however. How goes it. Gkhan?"
Hope to see you grab a chapter too! User:WBardwin 15:00, 29 May 2005 (UTC)
