The Valdez Oil Terminal is an petroleum Seaport in Valdez, Alaska, at the southern end of the Alaska Pipeline. It was acquired by British Petroleum in 1969, from the Chugach, for $1. There are 18 holding tanks at the terminal, and an average of three or four oil tankers depart from the terminal each day.
