The redirection of this title to Underground Railroad might confuse some people, since "Underground Railway" is a common term (but perhaps not in the USA) meaning a subway. -- user:Heron :Just changed the three links from to Underground railway to Underground railroad. Two of them were created by me, one last month and one this morning. Obviously, the "railway" was more familiar to me. ''Underground railroad'' leads ''Underground railway'' very slightly on Google, 290,000 to 219,000. Under either name, the slave-saving underground railroad preceded the subway by some 50 years, and under either name it might be confused (only temporarily) with the "tube".
