SwinaSwina (Polish language: ''Świna''; Pomeranian language: Swina, German language: ''Swine'' ) is a central strait, river or a branch of Oder River out of three straits conecting the Lagoon of Szczecin with the Bay of Pomerania of the Baltic Sea, between the islands of Wolin and Uznam. Major towns are: * Swinoujscie (=mouth of Swina river) Swina is part of the a waterway connecting Szczecin international seaport with Baltic sea alowing large ships to enter Szczecin.
