Spidron:''This article discusses the plane geometric figure; for the science-fiction character see Spidron (character).'' In geometry, a spidron is a continuous plane geometry figure composed entirely of triangles, where, for every pair of intersecting triangles, each has a leg of the other as one of its legs, and neither has any point inside the interior of the other. A deformed spidron is a ''not'' a spidron, but rather a three-dimensional figure sharing the other properties of a specific spidron, as if that spidron were drawn on paper, cut out in a single piece, and folded along a number of legs. Many spidrons are designed to correspond to deformed spidrons that are also polyhedra. ==External links== * [http://www.szinhaz.hu/edan/SpidroNew/ Spidron Geometric Systems] Elementary geometry Spidron==Improper Page Move== I went and reverted a page move for the following two reasons #The page move was never discussed on the talk page nor a reason given as to why the page should be moved #Half of this article is about the geometric figure spidron while the other half is about the sci-fi character. They both tie together as to the origins of the name spidron, what it really means, and how it was later used as the name for the sci-fi alien. I also feel splitting the article ionto two, one for the geometric data and the other for the sci-fi character, would be a bad idea. The article is too too short to make it even shorted by splitting it. -User:Husnock 21:50, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC) ::Looks a lot better now even if we did have to split it :-( Oh well. -User:Husnock 22:49, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC) See other meanings of words starting from letter: SSB | SC | SD | SE | SF | SG | SH | SI | SJ | SK | SL | SM | SN | SO | SP | SR | SS | ST | SU | SW | SX | SY | SZ |Words begining with Spidron: Spidron Spidron Spidron_(character) Spidron_(character) |
