Saab 9-5:''See also Saab 95'' The Saab 9-5 is an automobile made by Saab Automobile. It was introduced in 1997 as the replacement to the Saab 9000. During 1998, both the 9000 and 9-5 were sold, but from 1999 the 9-5 replaced the 9000 entirely. The sedan's drag coefficient value is 0.29. There is also a station wagon (estate) car body style with a drag coefficient of 0.31. The high powered version of the 9-5 is the Aero, the current form producing 250 hp ECE(184 kW) and 349 Nm (258 ft·lbf) of torque. A special option on the Aero model is the Hirsch that offers power up to 305 hp ECE (224 kW). Badged as a 95, Saab consistently advertises it as the 9-5. The 9-5 is powered by Saab's Saab H engine straight-4 turbo engines, and was also powered by the General Motors ''GM 54-Degree V6 engine'' V6 and Isuzu's ''DMAX V6 engine'' Diesel V6 (outside of North America). The 9-5 will be replaced in 2008 with a Saab 9-4 based on the GM Epsilon platform or a larger Saab 9-6. ==External Links== * [http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9-5/ Saab 9-5 Owners Bulletin Board] Front wheel drive vehicles Saab vehicles Luxury vehicles station wagons See other meanings of words starting from letter: SSB | SC | SD | SE | SF | SG | SH | SI | SJ | SK | SL | SM | SN | SO | SP | SR | SS | ST | SU | SW | SX | SY | SZ |Words begining with Saab_9-5: Saab_9-5 |
