I already use the preview page, but I was making large blocks of changes and wanted to save to prevent data loss. I also wanted to take a break. Look under Transport for many issues which can be considered "alternatives" to those presently in use. Incidentally, if you intend to create a page with a specific name, you can create the page before you link something to it. I thought minor edits are only fixing typos or so. In my view, adding a category is a borderline case. I sometimes mark it minor, sometimes not. For me, its one less click, which makes a difference when adding a category to a lot of articles. I also don't use the "minor by default". But thanks anyway for the notice. I usually check out changed articles on my watchlist regardless if minor or not. Neither am I foul mouthing any sport. I am also aware of the fact that Canadians ''hate'' to be confused with Americans. You must be wondering what prompted me to pair the two countries together. Well, I had to mention it, if I had said that it is an intra-country event, some wise cracks would have pointed out that USA and Canada are two independant countries. It may be high profiled in the mentioned countries but it isn't an international event because the teams are not officially representing their countries. There are many sports such as these, where other nations compete in a country's premier sporting event, as a ''separate'' team(s), but they are of course, unofficial matches, and hence, are not mentioned in Wikipedia main page news. I think you have read all the points that I have mentioned. I never said delete the news article altogether, it should be in the expanded news page, not the top page. Hi. In case you didn't figure it out by looking at my contributions, I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, have attended, am attending, or am expecting to attend Lisgar Collegiate Institute, and the University of Ottawa. : (Actually, most of my contributions involve fixing problems I find in Special:Randompage, which don't necessarily reflect my interest...) I have taken some photos of some touristy destinations here in Ottawa (on good weather days so the pics look really nice) and have posted them. Included are those found at: * The Canadian War Museum * The Royal Canadian Mint * The National Art Gallery of Canada * 24 Sussex Drive ...actually, I got distracted by writing this. I have also taken pictures of the following, and intend to upload, post, and link them shortly: * Bytown museum * Rideau Canal ...hm. I think that's all I've taken so far.
