Raley FieldRaley Field is the home to the Pacific Coast League Sacramento River Cats baseball team. It was built on the site of old warehouses and railyards, in West Sacramento, across the Sacramento River from the California State Capitol. The privately financed $29.5 million stadium was built in eight and a half months. But extended periods of bad weather forced the River Cats on a season opening one month-long road trip, as completion was delayed 45 days. The home opening day was May 15, 2000. The stadium seats 11,093, the field dimensions of 330 (RF), 403 (CF), 325 (RF). The naming rights for the facility were sold to Raley's, a regional chain of supermarkets. *Pacific Coast League: Sacramento River Cats (2000-Present) ==Notable Former River Cats in the Major Leagues== *Eric Byrnes *Bobby Crosby *Mark Ellis *Eric Hinske *Mark Mulder *Carlos Pena *Barry Zito ==External links== *[http://www.geocities.com/paulsminorleagueparks/Sacramento.htm Stadium View - Ball Parks of the Minor Leagues] Baseball venues Sacramento sports Stadiums See other meanings of words starting from letter: RRA | RB | RC | RD | RE | RF | RG | RH | RI | RJ | RK | RL | RM | RN | RO | RP | RS | RT | RU | RW | RX | RY | RZ |Words begining with Raley_Field: Raley_Field |
