Although it was only partially completed in its time of battle it proved to be a formidable Gundam. Using Newtype technologies, even those from Neo Zeon, the Nu Gundam was able to make use of Fin-Funnels and channel the emotions and newtype energies of a suited newtype pilot. Amuro used the Nu Gundam in his final battle against Char Aznable where he defeated his enemy’s mobile suit. After that he used his Gundam to stop the asteroid base Axis from falling on Earth. Unfortunately the psycoframe, which was incorporated in the Gundam caused a powerful phenomenae and although Axis could be pushed away from Earth, the Nu Gundam and Amuro were destroyed.
