Polish mythology

This page should definitely be merged with Slavic mythology. User:Ausir 22:07, 3 Mar 2004 (UTC) I've just discovered that nearly all articles linked from this article were copied from this website: http://www.geocities.com/mabcosmic/ User:Ausir 22:24, 3 Mar 2004 (UTC) ----

Greetings Jeff,

Thanks very much for your consideration in this
matter. Rest assured, I personally contributed the
information to Wikipedia, and I appreciate that you
are looking out for people's rights in this matter.

When I initially contributed the work myself, I put on
the front page of Polish Mythology "Contributed by
Margi Bailoboginki" (my online pseudonym), it was
automatically edited off by another user. So, I put
my web site links on the front page, down on the
bottom of the other links, so others can be directed
towards clean copies of my work without having to
print seperate pages of each article.

I do apologize for any confusion or problems this may
have created. I appreciate any additions/content
editing you would offer that would be helpful to
Wikipedia's standards.

Take care,
---- This page really needs some formatting, it has a lot of info, but its hard to realize that at first glance. It seems like a big list that one would be overwhelmed by. If there were a paragraph about each section, and an introductory paragraph for the article, it would really help out. Unfortunately I'm not at all knowledgable on Polish Mythology. - User:Siroxo 03:33, Jun 2, 2004 (UTC) :Additionally, lots of this info is not entirely accurate, and it all should be merged with Slavic mythology, as there is no such thing as a separate Polish mythology. User:Ausir 22:31, 2 Jun 2004 (UTC) ::Indeed, it should be merged with Slavic mythology. The very concept of Poland became popular after most of the Slavic mythology was already extinct. The basic concepts that prevailed are common to most Slavic peoples who live in the area (as an interesting note - there are almost no differences in mythologies between Western and Eastern Slavs; sometimes the names differ, but the differences are really small). It should indeed be merged, but first it needs to be revised by some specialist. There are lots of typos (both in the titles of the articles and in their content) and several of the linked phenomena seem forged or simply improbable.
