Patent Law Treaty



The Patent Law Treaty (PLT) is a patent law multilateralism treaty concluded on June 1, 2000 in Geneva, Switzerland, by 53 States and one intergovernmental organization, the European Patent Organisation. It entered into force on April 28, 2005 for ten countries: the Moldova, the Kyrgyzstan, the Slovenia, the Slovakia, the Nigeria, Ukraine, Estonia, the Denmark, the Croatia and Romania.
