Although Egbert of Wessex did rule over Mercia for a year as a conqueror, it looks plain silly (and misleading) to have it prominently displayed at the top that he was a "Mercian monarch". He should be in a West Saxon king category, if any. User:Everyking 18:54, 30 May 2004 (UTC)
