The ''day'' is given according to the Gregorian Calendar, or Proleptic Gregorian Calendar for dates prior to the calendar changes. I suspect some of the event dates are Julian Calendar dates, therefore the ''day'' is wrong in these cases. I'm trying to confirm some of the dates as being Julian or Gregorian. In the mean time, what's the view on having the ''day'' indicated? My personal view is that we shouldn't have it in this particular area of Wikipedia.
