MONET is the 2nd and the youngest cellular phone company in Montenegro under the area code 067. MONET is also is the 4th and the youngest cellular phone company launched in Serbia & Montenegro. MONET went live on July 1, 2000 and became an incorporated limited liability company on August 1, 2000. MONET signal covers 98% of Montenegro's inhabited territory. MONET has 167 base stations which cover all urban and suburban areas, all main roads, and tourist centers. The Network Code for MONET is 220-04. MONET currently uses GSM 900 and GPRS technology.
