MBTA Crosstown Buses



The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority operates three crosstown bus routes in the Boston, Massachusetts area, CT1, CT2 and CT3, intended as limited-stop buses connecting major points. All crosstown buses have bicycle racks and offer free transfers to and from the Boston subway. They only run weekdays. ==CT1== The CT1 (internally 701) runs between Central Square (Cambridge), Cambridge (MA) and the B.U. Medical Center/Boston Medical Center, mostly along Massachusetts Avenue (Boston).
