Kristen Pfaff

Kristen Pfaff (May 26, 1967June 15, 1994) was born and raised in New York, and went on to study abroad in Europe for a short time before relocating to Minneapolis, Minnesota to attend college (she briefly attended Boston College previous to this). After she finished school, she formed the band Janitor Joe with herself on bass guitar and vocals along with guitarist/vocalist Joachim Breuer and drummer Matt Entsminger. They released their debut album ''Big Metal Birds'' in 1993. That same year Kristen was recruited by Courtney Love to join the band Hole (band). Kristen brought to Hole a very talented musician and songwriter, and her superb bass playing was one reason Hole's 1994 album ''Live Through This'' did well. Following the death of Love's husband Kurt Cobain in April 1994, Kristen decided to leave Seattle and move back to Minneapolis. It is reported that Kristen and Courtney did not get along very well, and that Courtney had verbally threatened Kristen many times. Upon learning of Kristen's intended departure from Hole, Courtney allegedly told her that "you'll fade into oblivion" and "you don't deserve the chance I'm giving you because you don't appreciate it" and informed one of her other Hole bandmates "that little bitch is going to ruin everything... she's doing this on purpose." After touring with her old band Janitor Joe in the late spring 1994, Kristen returned to Seattle to pack up the rest of her belongings and head to Minnesota. On June 16, 1994, the morning she was supposed to leave, she was found dead in her bathtub by the friend who was supposed to go with her. Sometime overnight Kristen had died from what appeared to be an accidental heroin overdose, although Seattle police never investigated the possibility of homicide. 1967 births 1994 deaths

This article is POV to the point of being libellous and needs to be edited. == What? == The quotes here are from the book "Who Killed Kurt Cobain?" published in 1998 so I don't see how re-using quotes could be considered libelous, and as for the rest of the article, I didn't read anything that wasn't the truth.
