Kekeke

Kekeke is a Korean language term to indicate a cackling type of laughter. It is a recent term that appears to have spread because of its use in chat room. It is an example of an onomatopoeia word—one that imitates the sound it describes, such as the English words "moo" and "ding-dong." The phrase "''Zerg rush kekeke''" has become popular in parodying Koreans playing Starcraft. ==See also== *hahaha *huhuhu *jajaja *LOL (Internet slang) *List of Korea-related topics Korean language Onomatopoeia

Kekeke

"KEKEKE" is an onomatopoeic form of laughter popularized by Koreans playing on Battle.net, but its origins go back further. There is also the infinitely more amusing form "FUFUFU" which was the laugh of a villain in one of the Final Fantasy games. :"FUFUFU" is of Japanese origin, though. The kana equivalents ふふふ and フフフ are also often seen in manga to denote giggling. Due to Romaji ambiguities, they can also be rendered as "Huhuhu".--User:CohenTheBavarian 14:49, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)
