Intrigue#REDIRECT Oldsmobile_Intrigue IntrigueIntriguing... ---- I agree to Wikipedia:Multi-licensing all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below: IntrigueThis is my talk page - make yourself at home! == Crisis hotline listings == Hi Intrigue, I read your change comment on what services we should list on that page. See my comments on Talk:Crisis hotline as a basis for discussion. --User:Robert Merkel 22:06, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC) ==Stephen Bishop== You caught me right in the middle of creating a disambig. :) User:Dale Arnett 02:58, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC) == Renominations to VfD == At Wikipedia talk:Deletion policy#Proposed new rule: No repeat submission of articles, you raised the concern that the poll was not well structured for people's actual votes. I've proposed a Wikipedia talk:Deletion policy#New Vote in a different format. I'd appreciate your comments and changes before people start really using the table. User:Rossami 14:48, 29 Sep 2004 (UTC) == Deletion policy, and your Village Pump comment == You commented on the Village Pump that people might delete articles like the ones you wrote. Don't worry about it. I've never seen anything like that ever get deleted. If some idiot nominates it, it'll get voted down. Remember, you need at least 80% majority to get something deleted, which in practice, means that anything that has any support won't be. It's easy to confuse what gets NOMINATED for deletion with what actually gets deleted, which is very little. Basically, any article which is true and not just a stub is unlikely to be deleted. We just want to remove accounts of totally non-notable people; we're not a genealogical database. If someone did ANYTHING of note, they're probably worth putting in Wikipedia. We also default to inclusion. User:Morven 22:13, Sep 29, 2004 (UTC) == Double voting. == I've noticed that you've cast double votes in Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Committee of Logged in Trolls, Wikipedia:Votes_for_deletion/Gay_Nigger_Association_of_America, and Wikipedia_talk:Deletion_policy#Yes (votes #13 and #27). I know some other people have already commented on this on those pages, but nonetheless thought that it should be brought to your attention directly -- please be careful not to do this again in the future. - User:RedWordSmith 02:06, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC) :A thousand thank yous to User:RedWordSmith for bringing to my attention a most heinous offense. I voted twice in several polls over the past few days. I can only kneel before you, proclaiming ten thousand appologies, and throw myself on the mercy of the Wikipedia, pleading insanity. In my defense, I submit that anyone wanting to subvert the voting process would be careful not to vote twice with their own name. Only an idiot who was unable to keep track of which polls he had voted on already would make such a transparent and shamefull error. I recant. Yours, in contrition, User:Intrigue 15:50, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC) ::Sigh... In ''my'' defense, I did assume that this was accidental. - User:RedWordSmith 16:36, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC) == Stephen Bishop == I saw your discussion on the Village Pump, which sent me straight to Stephen Bishop. What a fantastic article! I love out-of-the-way topics like this one. User:Joy Stovall 00:56, Oct 8, 2004 (UTC) == Re: 24.159.83.79 == Hi; you're quite welcome. And hey, thank ''you'' for using the speedy tag; it makes cleaning up after these children much easier. As for the user, I'll be sure to keep an eye on him/her until I leave for the evening; I'll also check on the user's contribs when I return later on. Cheers, -- User:Hadal 19:23, 12 Oct 2004 (UTC) ==Poll== I have created a preliminary version of Wikipedia:VfD decisions not backed by current policies/poll. Your comments would be much appreciated. - User:SimonP 17:11, Oct 23, 2004 (UTC) ==Come join the AIW== You are not currently a member of the m:Association of Inclusionist Wikipedians. Thank you for your response, but wasn't sure how to go about posting on the reference desk re the E=MC2 and SI units. Please post there if you know how to. As far as the SI units being used for the equation, it seems impossible to me that a fundamental physical law could relate so exactly like that unless the units themselves were made to conform to the law, which of course they could have been. Still SI comes from metric, and metric pre-dates Einstein, so I am perplexed. user:jimaginator Don't know how to add the date and time! == Renaming files on Unix == I'd investigate bash's for statement in combination with the tr command. HTH. - User:Ta bu shi da yu 22:57, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC) == Article Licensing == Hi, I've User:rambot#Free the Rambot Articles project to get users to Wikipedia:Multi-licensing all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (''CC-by-sa'') v1.0 and v2.0 Creative Commons Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The ''CC-by-sa'' license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the Wikipedia:List_of_Wikipedians_by_number_of_edits Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at ''minimum'' those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information: *User talk:Ram-Man#Multi-Licensing FAQ - Lots of questions answered *Wikipedia:Multi-licensing *User:rambot#Free the Rambot Articles project To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the " See other meanings of words starting from letter: IIA | IB | IC | ID | IE | IF | IG | IH | IJ | IK | IL | IM | IN | IO | IP | IR | IS | IT | IU | IW | IX | IY | IZ |Words begining with Intrigue: Intrigue Intrigue Intrigue Intrigues_of_the_Warring_States |
