IBISIBIS (Input Output Buffer Information Specification) is a method of providing information about the input/output buffers of an integrated circuit to the outside world. It is an EIA (Electronic Industries Alliance) standard. The idea of IBIS is provide the behavioral aspects of a circuit without providing the actual circuit information to the user. The model that is generated is in text format and consists of a number of tables with voltage and current values. IBIS models are generally used in liu of SPICE models. == External links == *[http://www.eigroup.org/ibis/ IBIS Home] Ibis''Threskiornis'' ''Pseudibis'' ''Thaumatibis'' ''Geronticus'' ''Nipponia'' ''Bostrychia'' ''Theristicus'' ''Cercibis'' ''Mesembrinibis'' ''Phimosus'' ''Eudocimus'' ''Plegadis'' ''Lophotibis'' ''Platalea'' Ibises are a group of long-legged wading birds in the family Threskiornithidae. They all have long downcurved bills, and usually feed as a group, probing mud for food items, usually crustaceans. Most species nest in trees, often with spoonbills or herons. The ibis family is one of the families in the order Ciconiiformes, which also includes other wading bird families: Sacred Ibis Order Ciconiiformes * Ardeidae herons and bitterns * Cochlearidae: Boatbill * Balaenicipitidae Shoebill * Scopidae Hammerkop * Ciconiidae: storks * Phoenicopteridae flamingos * Threskiornithidae ibises and spoonbills ** Subfamily Threskiornithinae: ibises ** Sacred Ibis, ''Threskiornis aethiopicus'' ** Madagascar Sacred Ibis, ''Threskiornis bernieri'' ** Réunion Sacred Ibis, ''Threskiornis solitarius'' ** Black-headed Ibis, ''Threskiornis melanocephalus'' ** Australian White Ibis, ''Threskiornis molucca'' ** Straw-necked Ibis, ''Threskiornis spinicollis'' ** Indian Black Ibis, ''Pseudibis papillosa'' ** White-shouldered Ibis, ''Pseudibis davisoni'' ** Giant Ibis, ''Thaumatibis gigantea'' ** Northern Bald Ibis, ''Geronticus eremita'' ** Southern Bald Ibis, ''Geronticus calvus'' ** Japanese Crested Ibis, ''Nipponia nippon'' ** Olive Ibis, ''Bostrychia olivacea'' ** Dwarf Olive Ibis, ''Bostrychia bocagei'' ** Spot-breasted Ibis, ''Bostrychia rara'' ** Hadada Ibis, ''Bostrychia hagedash'' ** Wattled Ibis, ''Bostrychia carunculata'' ** Plumbeous Ibis, ''Theristicus caerulescens'' ** Buff-necked Ibis, ''Theristicus caudatus'' ** Andean Ibis, ''Theristicus branickii'' ** Black-faced Ibis, ''Theristicus melanopis'' ** Sharp-tailed Ibis, ''Cercibis oxycerca'' ** Green Ibis, ''Mesembrinibis cayennensis'' ** Whispering Ibis, ''Phimosus infuscatus'' ** American White Ibis, ''Eudocimus albus'' ** Scarlet Ibis, ''Eudocimus ruber'' ** Glossy Ibis, ''Plegadis falcinellus'' ** White-faced Ibis, ''Plegadis chihi'' ** Puna Ibis, ''Plegadis ridgwayi'' ** Madagascar Crested Ibis, ''Lophotibis cristata'' ** Subfamily: Plateinae spoonbills ** Common Spoonbill, ''Platalea leucorodia'' ** Black-faced Spoonbill, ''Platalea minor'' ** African Spoonbill, ''Platalea alba'' ** Royal Spoonbill, ''Platalea regia'' ** Yellow-billed Spoonbill, ''Platalea flavipes'' ** Roseate Spoonbill, ''Platalea ajaja'' Threskiornithidae Birds Ibis#REDIRECT Mountain biking primer IbisI would like to add another entry for IBIS which is an acronym for Issue Based Information System. This concept has a fair amount of history in Design Theory. Starting with Rittel & Kuntz in 1970 describing a method to structure discussions around difficult problems. They structure this discussion into issues, positions on issues, and arguments about positions.
