German Football Association



The German Football Association (DFB) (German language: ''Deutscher Fußball-Bund'') is the governing body of football (soccer) in Germany. It organises the German football leagues, including the national league, the Bundesliga (football) and the Germany national football team and Germany women's national football team national teams. It was a founding member of both FIFA and UEFA. Based in Frankfurt, it is divided into five regional federations with 21 regional organizations. It was founded in 1900 in Leipzig by representatives of 86 clubs.
