Freddie Calthorpe



The Honourable Frederick (\"Freddie\") Somerset Gough Calthorpe (27 May 1892-19 November 1935) was an English cricket team cricketer who played for Sussex Country Cricket Club, Cambridge University, Warwickshire County Cricket Club and England. Calthorpe captained England in his only four Test cricketes: on the first ever Test cricket tour of the West Indian cricket team in 1929/1930, which was drawn 1-1. This tour was played simultaneously to another England test tour to New Zealand cricket team, where England were captained by the Harold Gilligan.
