
Edo Stojčić (born June 20, 1952 in Karlovac) is a Croats journalist and writer. He is currently living in Rijeka, Croatia, and is a chief editor and a columnist of a weekly ''Butiga''. He graduated at the Economics Faculty in Rijeka in 1978. After the studies, he started his journalist career. He worked as news reporter, then an editor of local and politics sections, a chief editor of ''Goranski Novi list''. Stojčić has published three books of his columns that are written in a short story form. Influenced by Ephraim Kishon, Stojčić's stories are humorous accounts of every day life involving him, his family and friends. His books are: * ''Boje kuplejara'', September 1999 (Brothel colors) * ''Moja žena mene vara'', March 2001 (My wife is cheating on me) * ''Drug Tito je kriv za sve'', May 2002 (It's all Comrade Tito's fault) Two comedy plays inspired by Edo Stojčić's columns were performed so far: * ''Gdje je moj sombrero?''
