One issue that's worth bringing up is naming of articles. There's been some debate about how to best name articles about neighborhoods and other geographic areas. One school of thought is that "Bedford Park, New York" would be the right name for an article about a town or city named Bedford Park in New York State, but that for the Bedford Park neighborhood, a better name would be "Bedford Park (Bronx)". I've slowly been coming around to agree that the "neighborhood (borough)" style is the better one. Dtasripin is short for Daniel Tasripin. Presently residing in New York City, in the neighborhood of Bedford Park in the borough of The Bronx. I am of mixed race: on my mom's side half white-ethnic Americans (Jewish and French) and half Asian (Indonesian). I am an undergraduate student at Hunter College of the City University of New York. Working on a degree in Political Science, with minor in Urban Studies. Here, I mostly take an interest in editing articles related to modern Indonesia, New York, and the Bronx. My editing habits tend toward handling a few topics in depth, rather than vice versa. I prefer to keep my politics up front, and state openly that I'm an unrepentant leftist. I agree with Sen. Moynihan's old saying, that we're all entitled to our own opinions but not our own facts. I can also be found at Plastic.com, screen name Clandestino.
