David Michael Hasselhoff (born on July 17, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an United States actor best known for his lead roles on ''Knight Rider'' and ''Baywatch''. I removed the stement about his 'claiming to have helped reunite Germany'. The only sources I can find for this are a number of blogs, all with suspiciously similar wording, some getting the facts wrong (they say he made the claim in 1989, before the wall came down). They all claim to trace the quote back to a German magazine, Spielfilm. They keep quoting him as saying "I find it a bit sad that there is no photo of me hanging on the walls in the Berlin Museum at Check-Point Charlie", but the museum was for escapees, not for those helping with reunification. This sounds like exactly the sort of quote someone might have said jokingly, and then was blown up as a real claim by either the magazine or the bloggers. Either way it's too dumb for Wikipedia.
