I have two questions concerning the image :Image:Birdparadise111.jpeg: (1) There is no additional information on the origin of this image. Probably it is your own photo? If yes, do you have a higher resolution version. I would like to use it in :de:Paradiesv�gel in the German Wikipedia. (2) I am not sure, if your determination of the bird is correct. Actually, by doing so, you've come down very hard on the side of the ''hispanistas'' vs. the ''indigenistas'' with respect to the pronunciation of those names (Tenochtitlan and Teotihuacan in particular -- I suppose you have to start somewhere). In recent years there's been something of a movement in Mexico to reclaim the more authentic Nahuatl pronunciation with the accent on the penultimate rather than the (Castilianified) last syllable. For the two sides of the debate, take a look (on the Academia Mexicana de la Lengua website) at what Miguel Le�n-Portilla (indigenista) says [http://www.academia.org.mx/Consultas/021100.htm here] and how Y��ez (hispanista) rebukes him in the last para. It's been a long while since I've heard anyone pronounce it 'Tenochtitl�n', but maybe that's just the company I keep. Dunno. I'm a Sydneysider, that is to say, I was born and live in Sydney, Australia, in the great Australian_States_and_Territories of New South Wales. I'm proud to have been a member of the wonderous website since February 27, 2004. ==Interests and hobbies== My interests include history (primarily the Age of Discovery, the Napoleonic Wars, the British Empire the Second World War and the Cold War, ornithology (even before I could read I'd spend hours looking at the pictures in my father's birdwatching guide) and world music, especially that of Latin America and the Caribbean, among a myriad of other things. The cultures of Latin America and those of the Slavic peoples also fascinate me. The former so much so that I've had to make a seperate bragsheet (see below) about my Latin American contributions to prevent them clogging up my userpage! I have many actual hobby, such as playing the steel-stringed acoustic guitar, kayaking, Stamp_collecting and Coin collecting. I am a Christianity, more specifically, an Anglican, and I am of Ireland descent. I would describe myself as a leftism. I have a certain obsession with diacritic marks. I simply cannot pass by "Vasco Nunez de Balboa", "Karl Doenitz" or "coup d'etat" without clicking on Edit This Page and replacing them with "Vasco N��ez de Balboa", "Karl D�nitz" and "coup d'�tat". I made my 1000th edit on May 15, 2004. In October 23 (which is, curiously, my birthday!) I added several new events, such as the Red Army entering Hungary, the first use of aircraft in war in the Italo-Turkish War, and an attempted coup on the part of one of Napoleon Bonaparte's lieutenants.
