DG Bank buildingThe DG Bank building is an office, conference, and residential building located at Pariser Platz 3 in Berlin. It was designed by architect Frank Gehry. Construction began in 1998 and was completed in 2000. The building is mixed-use. Facing the Brandenburg Gate are offices, the headquarters of Deutsche Genossenschaftsbank. On the other side, facing Behrenstraße, are 39 residential apartments. Between the two is a large atrium (architecture), designed to be used as a conference or performance space. This is covered with a sophisticated glass-grid roof, curved in a complex form typical of Gehry's designs. ==External links== *[http://archrecord.construction.com/projects/portfolio/archives/0110dgBank.asp Architectural Record page on DG Bank building] *[http://www.navalarch.com/presentations/viewer.asp?ID=12¤tsection=1¤timage=1&mode=3&custom=0 DB Bank atrium roof page] Berlin DG Bank buildingQuestion: the page says ''Behrenstraße'', but (if my memory serves me) hasn't Germany finally officially dumped the "ß"? So shouldn't this read ''Behrenstrasse'' instead? Danke schon -- User:Finlay McWalter 18:15, 10 Nov 2003 (UTC) ---- Hey, is there a Berliner wikipedian with a digital camera who'd care to pop down to Parizer Platz and take a couple of photos of this building? The outside looks a bit dull, but that crazy glass roof looks very photogenic, particularly at night. Thanks. -- User:Finlay McWalter 18:38, 10 Nov 2003 (UTC) See other meanings of words starting from letter: DDA | DB | DC | DE | DF | DG | DH | DI | DJ | DK | DL | DM | DN | DO | DP | DR | DS | DT | DU | DW | DX | DY | DZ |Words begining with DG_Bank_building: DG_Bank_building DG_Bank_building
