I define fancruft as trivia that only a fan would consider worthy as an article subject. This includes most characters from TV shows, movies, books and games. *Notability by association: Being related to (or dating) a notable person does not make someone notable. *Any article that is broken out from another article to avoid an editing dispute. *Dictionary definitions: A definition belongs in Wictionary. *Non-notable people: This is, of course, subjective. Google is a good indicator, but only for people from fairly recent history. If the person is from another country, I try to defer to our international editors. *How To's: This type of article should probably go to WikiSource. ===No Vote=== *Elementary, middle or high schools. I haven't made up my mind as to whether or not all such schools are notable. ===Comments=== *TV show episodes: I do not think that individual episodes of a TV show deserve articles. For shows with few episodes, the episode summaries should be included in the article for the show. For long running shows, having seperate articles for each season would be appropriate.
