
Chinese Undergraduate Association at University of Toronto (CUAUT), founded in October 2002, is a Chinese language undergraduate association of University of Toronto. It publishes a quarterly magazine called "Feng Hua" (枫华), Cathay, in English. ==Welcome to CUAUT== CUAUT is the first Chinese undergraduate association founded by a group of enthusiastic students from the P. R. China in September 2002. We are striving to serve the benefits of all Chinese undergraduates especially those who come to study at U of T across the ocean from China. Being a member, you will have the opportunities to participate in various great events organized by CUAUT throughout the year, which will definitely enrich your university experience both academically and socially. Last but not least, one of our goals is to promote the understanding and friendship among all Chinese undergraduate students, no matter if he/she is from Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Canada or any other places around the world. We all have the same roots. ==Popular Events== * Hart House Farm: Hold right after April final exam period, the most popular event rated by old members. - Hart House farm is a private farm owned by Hart House of U of T. CUA organize trip to the farm each year by a Magic bus. People stay at the farm for one night during which people play poker, truth or dare, killer, risk, ma jiang,as well as other games within a house which can accommodate more than 60 people all together. And people return to school the day after. * Central Island trip: Every year at early summer. - central island locates on Ontario lake,opposite to city Toronto. It's 15 mins sailing from the dock to the side of island. Usually, CUA accommodates more than 100 people for this trip. On the island,people BBQ, play group games such as Ba He, Tiao Sheng, soccer, as well as other personal games such as rollerblading, jogging,or simply a walk cross the island.
