Co-opetitionCo-opetition is a buzzword coined to describe co-operation competition. Cartels are well-known examples of companies working together in order to limit competition. In contrast, co-opetition focuses on cooperation between companies in competitive markets. A prime example are Free Software and Open Source Software companies: They all contribute to the production of a software pool that anyone can use as a base for their own business model.
