The sudden moving from one form of spelling to another generally causes quite the uproar, and especially so when it has not been discussed beforehand - it is also policy not to change an article to conform to one's own personal taste in spelling :) BrE\AmE are the abbreviations most commonly used for British English and American English. --User:TVPR 14:49, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)
