Cibola

Cibola is a mythical place whose seven cities' golden treasures drew the Conquistadors northward through the Jornada del Muerto Desert, the Llano Estacado (Staked Plains), in which they encountered a 'Sea of Grass', and finally, the French colonization of the Americas, who resisted further northward advance.
