
Charlotte Rampling OBE, (born February 5, 1945 in Sturmer, Essex, England, United Kingdom) is a Britain actor and former Model (person) (her height is 5foot (unit of length) 7inches). She attended Jeanne d'Arc Academie pour Jeunes Filles in Versailles and St. Hilda's school in Bushley, England. After working as a model for a while Rampling's first screen role was uncredited as a water skier in Richard Lester's film ''The Knack... and how to get it'' in 1965 which was followed a year later by the role of Merdith in the film ''Georgy Girl''. After this her acting career blossomed in both English and French cinema. She often takes roles which portray her as the villain or as a 'bitch'. In 1972 she married the actor Bryan Southcombe, they had one child Bryan who is now a successful television director before divorcing in 1976. In 1978 she married the France composer Jean-Michel Jarre and had 3 children, including the magician David Jarre, the marriage was dissolved in the late 1990s when she found out (via tabloid newspaper stories) about Jarre's affairs with other women. == Schooling == I suspect the location of St Hilda's school should be Bushey rather than Bushley. Bushey has a St Hilda's School and a Nato headquarters base (later occupation of father). Using Google, both Bushley and Bushey are mentioned for Charlotte Rampling but most references to Bushley seem derived from Wikipedia. A page in Czech [http://www.osobnosti.cz/charlotte-rampling.php]) mentions Harrow which is adjacent to Bushey. There does not seem to a St Hilda's School in Bushley, population 300.
