CJMXCJMX is a Canada radio station, which broadcasts an adult contemporary format at 105.3 FM radio in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. The station uses the on-air brand CJEZ (pronounced "Easy Rock", not "E-Zed Rock".) The station is owned by Rogers Communications. CJMX was established in 1980 by F. Baxter Ricard, the owner of Sudbury's CHNO and CHYC. The stations became part of the Mid-Canada Radio Network in 1986, and were then sold to the Pelmorex Radio Network in 1990. Pelmorex's ownership of the stations was controversial, as most of their programming was delivered by satellite from a facility in Mississauga, Ontario. After a change in Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission media ownership rules, Pelmorex sold CJMX to Telemedia, the owner of CJRQ and CIGM, in 1998. (Pelmorex subsequently sold its other stations in Sudbury to Haliburton Broadcasting Group.) The Telemedia stations were sold to Standard Broadcasting in 2002, and to Rogers later the same year. ==External Link== * [http://www.ezrocksudbury.com/ CJMX] Rogers Communications Greater Sudbury, Ontario Radio stations in Ontario See other meanings of words starting from letter: CCA | CB | CD | CE | CF | CG | CH | CI | CJ | CK | CL | CM | CN | CO | CP | CR | CS | CT | CU | CW | CX | CY | CZ |Words begining with CJMX: CJMX
