BpNichol Lane

bpNichol Lane is a street in Toronto, Ontario named after Canada literary figure B. P. Nichol. == Location == It runs north-south, its northern end stopping on the south side of the Senator David A. Croll Apartments (the former Rochdale College residence) at 341 Bloor Street between Huron Street and Spadina Avenue near the University of Toronto in the city’s The Annex nieghbourhood. == Attractions == There are a number of one hundred year old coach houses along the lane. One of the old coach houses is the location of Coach House Press. This is appropriate because it is the kind of small press that bpNichol promoted. The lane leads to the former residence of the notorious Rochdale College. During the late 1960s and early 1970s its students were involved in the emergence of Coach House Press as an important Canadian publishing enterprise. Toronto streets
