BSC Young BoysBSC Young Boys is a Switzerland football (soccer) club from the federal capital, Bern. ==History== The FC Young Boys club was founded on 14 March 1898, taking its name in contrast to the existing club ''Old Boys Basel''. The club played its first game, against FC Viktoria on the following 17 June. The club won the Swiss Championship three years in succession, in 1909, 1910, and 1911. In 1925 the club moved to the newly built Wankdorfstadion and changed its prefix from "FC" to "BSC" (Berner Sport Club) in recognition of the fact that the club was not just a football team, but also had sections playing boccia (an Italian form of boules), handball, and Field hockey. The clubs' golden age was the 1950s, when it won the Swiss Cup in 1953 and 1958, and the Swiss Championship in four consecutive years starting in 1957. Since 2001 Young Boys have played at the Neufeldstadion. ==Honours== *Swiss Champions: 1903, 1909, 1910, 1911, 1920, 1929, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1986. *Swiss Cup winners: 1930, 1945, 1953, 1958, 1977, 1987. *European Cup Winners' Cup: Quarter-finalists, 1986. ==External link== *[http://www.bscyb.ch/ Official website] Swiss football clubs See other meanings of words starting from letter: BBA | BC | BD | BE | BF | BG | BH | BI | BJ | BK | BL | BM | BN | BO | BP | BR | BS | BT | BU | BW | BX | BY | BZ |Words begining with BSC_Young_Boys: BSC_Young_Boys
