Displacements included 1.2 L, 1.6 L, and even 2.4 L. Output was 68 to 72 hp (51 to 54 kW). Bore was 73.025 mm (2.9 in) and stroke was 89 mm (3.5 in). Applications: * 1955-1958 MG A ==Twin-Cam== A special Twin-Cam (DOHC) version of the 1.5 L B-Series engine was produced for the MG A. Output was 110 hp (82 kW). Applications: * 1958-1960 MG A ==1.6== The engine was enlarged to 1.6 L (1588 cc) in 1958 by increasing the bore to 75.41 mm (3 in). Applications: * 1958-1961 MG A ==1.6 Mark II== The engine was enlarged to 1622 cc in 1961 with another bore increase, this time to 76.2 mm (3 in). Applications: * 1961-1962 MG A ==1.8== The engine was enlarged again to 1.8 L (1789 cc) in 1965. Bore was 80.26 mm (3.2 in) and stroke was 88.90 mm (3.5 in).
