Royal Ahold owned it from 2001 until 2005, when it was sold to Lone Star Funds. ==BI-LO in Australia== In Australia, BI-LO was established by John Weekes in Adelaide during the late 1970s. It is a major supermarket chain owned and operated by retail giant Coles Myer in parallel to Coles Supermarkets. I believe a company needs to have either a) a multi-national presence, or b) be publicly traded, to have a Wikipedia article. This supermarket chain meets neither criteria.
