Azalea State ReserveAzalea State Reserve is a 30 acre (120,000 m²) reserve for western azalea (''Rhododendron occidentale'') located in Humboldt County, California. Each spring, a profusion of pink and white blossoms scents the air. The reserve offers a short self-guided nature trail with emphasis on other plants of the north coast area. There is a picnic area available. The azaleas bloom in April and May.
