Az-ZahirAz-Zahir was the Abbasid Caliph in Baghdad from 1225 to 1226. He was the son of an-Nasir. There is little said of him (and the next Caliph) beyond that he was mild and virtuous. The Crusades still dragged on, while the heirs of Saladin were contending bitterly among themselves. {| align="center" cellpadding="2" border="2" |- | width="30%" align="center" rowspan="2" | Preceded by: an-Nasir | width="40%" align="center" | Abbasid | width="30%" align="center" rowspan="2" | Succeeded by: al-Mustansir |- | width="40%" align="center" | Caliph |} Abbasid caliphs See other meanings of words starting from letter: AAB | AC | AD | AE | AF | AG | AH | AI | AJ | AK | AL | AM | AN | AO | AP | AR | AS | AT | AU | AW | AX | AY | AZ |Words begining with Az-Zahir: Az-Zahir Az-Zahir_Hakim Az-Zahir_Hakim Az-Zahir_Rukn-ad-Din_Baybars_I_al-Bunduqdari
