Ayama (阿山町; -cho) was a towns of Japan located in Ayama District, Mie, Mie Prefecture, Japan. On November 1, 2004, it merged into the new city of Iga, Mie. As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 8,242 and a population density of 112.95 persons per square kilometer. The total area was 72.97 km².
