An open letter to wikipediaThe main drive of my contribution to this letter will be the culture of Wiki, especially relating to the treatment of new users. The idea behind this letter is as an open forum for user driven feedback on WikiPedia itself. I am sure that many many forms of feedback exist, but the concept of Wiki is about dismantling centralized control systems and allowing users to self organize and create. For this reason I think it is OK to just innovate new forms of feedback and discussion forums. This letter should be a free place for people to voice (well reasoned and balanced) opinions about WikiPedia. Each new contribution on a new theme will be a new main heading, and users are invited to sign the equivalent of yay or nay votes on under subheadings (each subheading is a different vote, and users could add their signature under the subheading they would like to vote for, or create a new sub heading to carry their vote).
