Great! :D I've visited forums for discussion of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and there are *alot* of people who share my opinion :D The masses are much smarter than their rulers, but that's old news... ;)

hi Alensha -- there have been various replies to your comments on Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/Antifinnugor#an_outside_view. I would be interested in your reaction. regards, User:DbachmannUser_talk:Dbachmann 11:17, 5 Jan 2005 (UTC)
==Diacritics==
Alensha, thanks for your note. Yes, we know about the diacritics problem. By now, every Wikipedia except the English-language one should now use Unicode, which supports almost all known characters in most known scripts. However, the English-language Wikipedia, because it was the first to be set up, and the largest, will be the last to be converted to Unicode; at the moment, it only supports ISO 8859-1 characters in article titles, and only supports non-8859-1 characters by using HTML entities in article Wikitext. However, this is all planned to be sorted soon, when the English Wikipedia will finally be converted to Unicode. This is why the "wrongtitle" template is so useful: by flagging articles now, we will greatly ease the task of finding and converting them when the Unicode recoding occurs.-- User:The Anome 13:59, Mar 21, 2005 (UTC)

I was not trying to give hints or prod anyone, but I would love to see your article once it is done. User:Zscout370 18:28, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)

No problem; it didn't look quite right and bothered me, so I figured I'd fix it… ;o) — User:OwenBlacker 23:31, May 12, 2005 (UTC)
:I'm glad to see I'm not the only Explorer user left :) it looked okay on all the other browsers :) User:Alensha 23:32, 12 May 2005 (UTC)

User:NyenyecUser talk:Nyenyec 21:02, 24 May 2005 (UTC)
==Hungarian counties: disambiguation==
Hi! You split the Békés article into one about the town (Békés and one about the county (Békés county). Since there are far more references on wikipedia to the county than to the town, I propose to move the county to Békés and the town to Békés (town). I tried to start a discussion (also about other counties) on Talk:Counties of Hungary, please give me your opinion. User:Markussep 10:36, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
==Category tags==
I've just reverted an edit of yours (on List of English irregular verbs). The category namespace has no use for pipe characters (which you may have already noticed). The page shows the same if you write Lists or Lists. The pipe character (|) only works for linked words or phrases in the body of the page. --User:Pablo-flores 01:40, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
:I didn't know about the listing on the Category page itself!. Thanks for letting me know. Anyway, on the issue of lists, I believe categories are supposed to replace them in due time, since lists are more difficult to maintain. That is, the only lists should be those which provide additional information (besides just bare links).
:And you're a conlanger, too! --User:Pablo-flores 13:51, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
::yes, though I only have a bunch of abandoned conlangs now... I need more free time to continue them :) User:Alensha 16:21, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Alensha
Welcome to my Wikipedia user page! I guess I should write something about myself here, but I don't really like talking about myself, so there are only some random facts. :o) I'm a twenty-some years old internet junkie from Hungary. I work as a translator (English language to Hungarian language), I'm interested in history (mostly in Ancient Egypt), reading, writing (historical, sci-fi & fantasy), Internet, music, New Age spirituality and lots of other things. I love designing webpages, although at this time I have only three webpages (that haven't been updated since ages; I'm soo busy with other things :( and several others that are still under construction.
Oh yes, and I'm a Trekkie. And proud of that.
I don't want to put Wikipedia:Babel links here 'cause everyone else I looked up speaks at least five languages and it's embarrassing that I speak only two and a half... I'll add them later when I speak at least four.
BTW Alensha means "full moon" in a language I created for a fantasy novel. I've started using it on the internet because whenever I want to register somewhere, all the other names are already taken (even the most complex Ancient Egyptian ones.) You can also call me Annie.
I'm more active in Hungarian wiki where I'm writing articles about cities towns and villages of Hungary. I'll translate them to English but I'd like to wait until this problem with the characters "ő" and "ű" is solved.
These are the articles I'm proud of: Miskolc | Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén | :Category:Miskolc
