Would like to join the the group. Seems as if there ist mostly knowledge/interest of German, British and US cars in the group, so I'll bring in some more French Cars (but also more German cars)... BTW: Seems to me, that old cars are somehow underrepresented in Wikipedia, e.g. I'm really wondering why there is nearly no information about the VW Type 2 in Wikipedia, which is IMHO as important as the Type 1 aka VW Beetle. I would start that page, but wonder, how the page should be named. Is "VW" or "Volkswagen" as prefix prefered? Shall I call the suffix "Type 2" (which would be exact), "Transporter" (which is the official name, but also is still used for more modern variants like the forth and fifth generation, which are no more "Type 2"), "VW-Bus" (with dash and without further prefix), like it was called in many countries or "VW Bully", which also was a popular nickname for the Type 2. Especially for the english Wikipedia, this probably also depends on how international the names are. I am a Computer Programmer living in West Sussex, England and working in London. I have been a Wikipedia editor since 23rd January 2004, and Wikipedia reader for much longer. My main interests lie in the areas of Computer, Automobile, and Heavy metal music/Rock and roll music. My pet hates include the Crawley Fastway, which I consider a sickening waste of public money. I created but now attempt to avoid editing the Crawley Fastway page (with varying degrees of success), since most of my edits require major NPOV work.
